FAQs

What is a Rebirth Memorial Flower?

A Rebirth Memorial Flower is a handcrafted metal flower created to give the memory of your loved one new life. Some designs may incorporate a small amount of cremated remains or other small, meaningful material, while others are purely symbolic. Each element is made with honor, intention, craftful design, and respectful care.

How are ashes handled during the process, and what if I don't have any?

Cremated remains are handled with dignity and transparency. Only a very small, agreed-upon amount is used, and it is carefully contained in the piece. No ashes are ever shared, reused, or handled outside of your specific commission. Alternatively, cremated remains aren't required, but if they are used, they're never scattered, exposed, or treated casually, and incorporation is always discussed in advance.

What materials are used to make the flowers?

The flowers are primarily welded corrosion- resistant steel and can be custom-designed to incorporate small personal items and other elements, depending on the design. Each material is chosen for longevity- these are meant to last generations, not seasons.

What if I'm not emotionally ready yet?

That is completely okay. There is no rush. Some people come to this immediately after loss, others wait months or years. You are welcome to ask questions or explore ideas without any obligation to move forward. We honor everyone's grief process and never push anyone to speed anything up that they don't ask for.

How long does the process take?

Because each piece is handcrafted and memorial stories are often told in a video form, timelines will vary. Typically, a commission takes several weeks from design to completion, although we can accommodate rush orders. You will be kept informed every step of the way.

How do I ensure the digital memorial is safe from hacking or erasure?

Our digital memorials are hosted using secure, reputable platforms that prioritize data protection, encryption, and long-term stability. Each memorial is private by nature and shared only with those you authorize to scan its code (unless you're planning on placing the memorial in a public space, for which you can opt for password protection). Additionally, every story is preserved in more than one way. We can provide digital copies, and/or the story can be converted into PDF, please ask us for details. The flower itself acts as a physical anchor to your loved one's story, ensuring remembrance is never dependent on a single digital location. No memorial, unless a specific client agreement has been made, will ever be used in advertising. Access and password protections can be modified at any time per request.

Why choose a memorial flower instead of a traditional urn or keepsake?

Many people want something alive in form, even if made of metal- something that represents growth, continuity, and presence rather than finality. A memorial flower can live on in a home, a garden, or be passed down as a story, not stored away.
